Wild Ennerdale Recce

There are two proposed projects:

Monitoring woodland at pre-defined plots in Ennerdale (the same plots could be used annually so we had ongoing data)
There are some potential river projects looking at gravel beds and river meandering

Dates: 9th – 12th September (excluding travel).

Aims: To meet NTS staff, familiarise ourselves with the properties, visit the project sites and get experience of the methodologies involved. Also to look at possible wild camping sites.
