The
Expedition
This
11 day course covers expedition training including all sections
in the record book with the exception of first aid – map and
compass skills, campcraft, food and cooking, team building and emergency
procedures. During the first week you will also undertake a closely
supervised 2 day practice expedition in wild country.During
the latter half of the course you will design your own route and
prepare for the qualifying venture. The qualifying venture will
be assessed by local assessors and you will prepare and deliver
presentations to the assessors on the final dayThis
course covers the requirements for the Practice expedition or the
Residential experience, and the Qualifying expedition (subject to
approval by each member's Local D of E Operating Authority). Sample
